It can be scary to deal with difficult people especially customers who are angry.

Meaning, you must be willing to lose to your customers in the short term so that you can win in the long term.

By letting your customers to win, you will be able to win in many ways in the long term.

For example you might be able to win back and keep the customer.

You can also introduce new policies that will help you to protect yourself against similar situations.

Besides that you might be able to attract even more customers if you turn this angry customer into a happy customer through referrals.
